Day 1 International arrival in Lima

Our representative will meet you at the Lima international airport and escort you to your hotel.
There are no scheduled activities, in order to check in the hotel and rest – Night at Lima Hotel

Day 2 Lima Sightseeing tour

Breakfast at the hotel; Free morning to relax; We recommend that you take a long break and be prepared to begin this unforgettable journey through our wonderful country.
At 2:30 pm the guided tour of the most important and attractive places in Lima, the “City of Kings”, will begin. This excursion offers the best combination of the various attractions of Lima in its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary. In Lima, various pre-Columbian cultures have developed that date back thousands of years. Lima was part of the Inca Empire until its foundation by the Spanish Francisco Pizarro on January 18, 1535; return to the Hotel – Accommodation in Lima Hotel

Day 3 Flight to Cusco - City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel; Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco, the ancient Inca capital of the Incas. Upon arrival in Cusco; reception and transfer to your hotel – free morning to get acclimatization
After lunch at 1:30 pm; Tour Cusco including the Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Our tour begins in the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. You will enter the Cathedral of Cusco and see the beautiful wood crafts and colonial paintings that contain extensive Inca iconography. Visit the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) in which the Santo Domingo Convent was built. Legend has it that this temple was completely covered in gold, which impressed the conquerors upon their arrival.
Ascend to the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman and visit the Citadel. This is the royal house where they admired the Sun God, but also worshiped younger gods. Admire this great structure and enjoy the magnificent scenery that brings peace and tranquility. Next, visit Qenqo, the ancient temple of the Puma. Inside you can see a sacrificial altar made of a huge stone. In Tambomachay, you will see the sacred sources of life and health. Pucapucara safeguarded the city gates and the Sacsayhuamán Fortress. The tour ends with a detailed visit of the city of Cusco – Accommodation at the Cusco Hotel

Day 4Sacred Valley

Breakfast at the hotel; Pick up at the hotel at 8:30 am for your full day excursion to the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas, explore the beautiful landscape of Peru with a full day excursion of the magical Sacred Valley. First, you will visit the city of Pisaq, known for its lively market. This hometown was once where “Forex trading” took place. In this type of operation, clients exchange one good for another instead of using the currency. Visit the Pisaq market, where you can buy wonderfully handcrafted products handcrafted by the locals.

On Sunday, the main attraction is a mass celebrated in Quechua and performed in Spanish. It is the presence of the mayors and their assistants who play traditional musical instruments called “pututos”.

Afterwards, you can enjoy a typical Peruvian lunch (included in the price) before visiting the Ollantaytambo fortress.

Next, we will visit the impressive ruins of the Ollantaytambo fortress. These magnificent ancient ruins serve as great vantage points to gaze out over the valley. Originally the royal domain of Emperor Pachakuteq during the Inca Empire, this site later served as a stronghold for Manco Inca in the final Inca rebellion against the Spanish. Day 5 Full Day Machu Picchu and return to Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel; Full day excursion to Machu Picchu; Our representative will pick you up from your Cusco hotel and transfer you to the Poroy train station to enjoy a 3 ½ hour scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes.
Upon arrival at the Aguas Calientes station, you will board a small bus and head up to the ruins of the “sacred city”, Machu Picchu. Your expert guide will walk with you through the main streets of these incredible ruins. Stroll through the squares and climb the delicately carved stone stairs. Esoteric wisdom has Machu Picchu as the new spiritual center of the world. There will be time to be alone and fully embrace this magnificent wonder of the world, allowing this once in an established life experience. After the tour you will have time to wander around the archaeological site at your leisure.
Then, you will have time to do any of the following activities by yourself (not included in the price):
1. 1. Ascent to Wayna Picchu; For the more adventurous, we suggest you climb the Wayna Picchu from where you can appreciate the immensity of Machu Picchu, being even more surprisingly high and distant.
2. 2. At the foot of Puerta del Sol; opportunity to walk (approx. 1 hour) to Puerta del Sol (Inti Punku)

Train back to Cusco: In the afternoon you will return to the Aguas Calientes train station for the return trip to Cusco – departure of the train to Cusco; upon arrival at the reception and transfer to the Hotel Cusco

Day 6 Flight to Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata Lodge

Breakfast at the hotel; transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado; Upon arrival in Cusco, reception by an English guide and transfer by car for one hour along a dirt road to Puerto Nuevo (Puerto) in the Native Community of Infierno speaking from where we will board our boat once and a half hour to along the Tambopata river to reach the lodge. The lodge is located inside the buffer zone of the Tambopata National Reserve and the Bahuaja Sonene National Park. Throughout the boat trip you have the opportunity to appreciate the flora along the river bank mainly composed of canebravales, cecropias, ficus, as well as fauna like birds.
Once in our Lodge you will be received by the administrator and your guide will indicate the best ways for you to enjoy your stay, after showing you the different areas of the country house. After lunch the guide will take you on a hike to observe the flora and fauna in the vicinity of the lodge. After dinner the guide will give you a more detailed talk describing the scheduled activities – Accommodation at the Inotawa Lodge

Day 7Collpa de Loros - Comunidad Nativa - lago Tres Chimbadas

Breakfast; Leave early in the morning by boat to observe the activity of birds (parrots, macaws, parrots and parrots). The “La Torre” clay lick is similar to the rest of the salt stones along the Tambopata River, consisting of an embankment on the river side with a height of 4 meters and a length of 20 meters. Day 8 Departure from the Lodge - Flight to Lima - Connect to the International Flight

Breakfast; Transfer by Boat – Inotawa Lodge River and the road trip back to Puerto Maldonado, our office and the airport. Depending on airline schedules, this may require sunrise departures; flight to Lima where you can connect at the same airport for the international flight.
