Our representative will meet you at the Lima International airport (Jorge Chavez) and drive you to your hotel.
There are no scheduled activities, so you will just make your check-in at the hotel and rest.
Note: We recommend that you arrive in Lima between 3 to 10 pm
You will start with breakfast at the hotel. Once you finish, we will begin our tour around Lima around 10:00 am. You will receive a complete guided tour of colonial and modern Lima in our private vehicle (minibus).
We will pass through different places, including the cathedral, which dates back to the year 1654. The main square, which still houses the bronze fountain originally built in 1650, and the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs.
Known as the city of kings, Lima was founded in 1535 by Pizarro and rebuilt in 1991, the same year that UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site. One of the few cities in South America that preserve its colonial past.
Lima was the home of the Spanish viceroy during the time of colonization by the Spanishs.
For lunch, we will visit a nice restaurant in Miraflores, where we will enjoy first class Peruvian food. Then we will return to the hotel where you will spend the night.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up around 7:00 am by our representative and then you will embark in a private vehicle to Ica.
We will drive around 3 ½ hours, travelling some 325 km.(202 miles) south along the Panamerican Highway from Lima to Ica, through the arid desert and the gorgeous lush coastal oasis. We will be arriving at Ica around 11:00 hours approx.
You will fly over the Nazca lines from Ica. The flight will take 1 hour and 15 minutes. We offer you a flight over the nazca desert aboard a Cessna Caravan plane, leaving the city of Ica.
This aerial tour will allow you to see the most spectacular Nazca drawings, such as the monkey, the hummingbird, the condor, the spider, the astronaut and many others.
In addition you will also see huge geometric designs and hundreds of lines that cross the Nazca plateau.
Then, we will be returning to the Ica airport. Once we arrive our representative will be waiting for you to transfer to the hotel in Ica.
You will have lunch at the Mossone restaurant before spending the night in Ica.
* Please note that the departure from the Nazca lines during the flight is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (it will depend on weather conditions).
For the adventurous ones, we suggest dune buggy and tour around Sand-boarding Huacachina Oasis. Our buggy tour around the Huacachina desert is a very fun and adrenaline filled ride. Starting late in the afternoon at 4:00 pm, which is the perfect time during the day to take the tour, as the sun is bright enough to illuminate the landscape and enjoy sunset.
As usual we will pick you up from the hotel, this time at 7:00 am, next we will transfer you in our private vehicle to Paracas.
We will drive for about 60 km. (37 miles) north of Paracas. On the route you will see the fields of cultivation of some export products such as paprika, asparagus, artichokes, etc.
We will arrive in Paracas to have a boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands to see thousands of birds, sea lions and seals in their natural surroundings.
The famous Candelabra design, a figure of the Nazca civilization engraved in the desert, can also be seen from the boat and on the final part of the journey to the Paracas national reserve. Where we will visit the Interpretation Center of the Paracas National Reserve, the Cathedral, Lagunilla Beach, Red Beach and Yumaque Beach to see the petrified dinosaur eggs (under study) and last but not least the Obelisk of Independence.
Later, around 2:30 pm we will be heading back to Lima, we are not staying in a Paracas hotel this time. Our arrival is programmed for 6:30 pm.
Once at Lima, you will be dropped off at your hotel where you will be spending the night.
Today, we will take you to the airport to have our flight to Cusco city, the ancient Inca capital of the Incas.
Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be received and transferred to your hotel. The morning will be free of activities, for you to be able to acclimatize.
We will have lunch at a local restaurant in Cusco.
At 1:00 p.m, we will have a private guided city tour in Cusco. First, you will visit Coricancha, known as the Temple of Sun, the most important sanctuary during the Inca era.
Next, a visit to the Cathedral, the most imposing and principal church in the main square.
The tour continues, with a short ride to Sacsayhuaman. This site is a megalithic work made by the Incas. It stands on a hill that looms over the city to the north – but even these massive stones have that extraordinary Inca perfection.
Our following destination is Qenqo, this site shows a unique limestone outcrop, which was used for religious purposes as well as a worship site.
The tour will end by visiting the military fortress of Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, water worship center.
Finally we will return to the hotel, where we will spend the night.
You will enjoy a typical Cusco breakfast at the hotel. Our full day excursion will start at 8:00 am. Our private car will be waiting for you to take you on a ride to the most important sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
In this 6 day tour, we will explore the beautiful landscapes of the magical Sacred Valley.
Beginning with a visit to the town of Pisac, known for its picturesque market. Here you will have the opportunity to see the beautiful Andean handicrafts and garments, the gorgeous silver work as well that will be on display for sale.
Afterwards, we will visit the impressive ruins of the Ollantaytambo fortress. This magnificent ancient site serves as a great viewpoint to gaze out over the valley. Originally this was a royal domain of Inca Pachacuti during the Inca Empire, to serve later as a stronghold for Manco Inca in the last Inca rebellion against the Spanish.
In the afternoon we will return to Cusco. Tonight we will spend the night at a Cusco Hotel too.
Our last breakfast together will be at the hotel, before starting a full day excursion in Machu Picchu. We will head to the Poroy train station. You will take a train (Vistadome Train) to Aguas Calientes, where the hidden sanctuary of the Incas, Machu Picchu, is located.
The train ride is an attraction in itself, as much of the route winds along the river and mountain face, offering passengers spectacular views of the Andes.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, you will head to the bus station for a 25-minute ride to the inca citadel.
Once we reach at the archaeological site, you will participate in a guided tour around the complex, visiting the principal areas such as the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock (the most important preserved Intihuatana), the royal rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, houses, warehouses, a large central square. The mountainside terraces overlook all of these places that are connected by narrow roads and passes.
At the end of the tour you will have time to wander around the archaeological site at your pleasure, take as many pictures as you want or do a different activity to complement your journey.
The lunch will be at the Sanctuary Lodge Restaurant that is located in Machu Picchu.
In the afternoon, we will take the late train to return back to Cusco. At your arrival, you will be received by our representative to take you to your Hotel in Cusco to have a well deserved rest.
After finishing the tour at the ancient citadel, you will have enough time to do the following activities on your own.
Right after you’re ready, we will transfer you to the airport to take the flight back to Lima to take the connecting flight back home
