This two days trip is ideal for families and for travellers wanting to get the best of the Inca sites in a short time.
Sacred Valley of Incas has been home to some of the renowned colonial and Inca villages. These villages have played a significant role during Inca civilization. Some of them continue to be important even today.
People living in the valley have preserved their age-old traditions and customs. Most even continue to talk in Quechua. On this Sacred Valley Tour you will get a deeper insight into their way of life.
Farming was a main occupation of Incas. Villages like Moray played a significant role. The Incas built circular farming terraces with different levels here. These terraces have different temperatures at each level which helped the Incas to determine the best weather conditions needed to grow a crop.
This two day Sacred Valley Machu Picchu tour culminates with a visit to the lost city of Incas, Machu Picchu.

Pisac is popular for its weekend market. Farmers and craftsmen from neighbouring villages set up tents around the main square to sell their products. The village is also home to Inca ruins that nestles on a hilltop, overlooking the valley.
This Inca ruins is second to the city of Machu Picchu in size. Here we will be giving you a complete tour of the complex. You will be introduced to Incas farming techniques and their rituals that they practised here.
We will then drive you to Urubamba. Here we will be serving you a typical Peruvian lunch (included in the price) before visiting the Ollantaytambo fortress.
Ollantaytambo is a beautiful village. It is the best example of Inca Empire’s town planning. The village is snuggled in between two hills. We will be visiting the fortress here.
It was built by Inca ruler Pachacutec who also built Machu Picchu and Choquequirao.
However, Manco Inca expanded it. It served as his stronghold when the Spanish invaded Ollantaytambo. He and his troops managed to defeat Spanish intruders in the battle of Ollantaytambo.
After the detailed tour of the complex, we will be dropping you off at the hotel in Ollantaytambo.
After relishing an early morning breakfast, we will be transferring you to Ollantaytambo train station. Here you will be boarding a Ollantaytambo Aguas Calientes tourist train. It will be a three hours train ride.
Once in Aguas Calientes, we will transfer you to the bus terminal where you will board the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu citadel. Once at the entrance of the citadel, our representative will be meeting you and will be assisting you in entering the citadel.
As you will be walking into the citadel, the clouds would be clearing by as the golden rays of the sun would shimmer on the walls of the citadel.

After the tour, you will have some free time to explore the citadel on your own. If you have booked to hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, our tour guide will be directing you to the respective trail head.
Alternatively, you can hike to the Sungate. This is the point of entrance to those on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

Later in the evening, we will be taking the train back to Ollantaytambo. Our representative will be meeting you and will transfer you back to the hotel in Cusco.
Fantastic service. The guide had plenty of knowledge and was super helpful. Machu Picchu Kingdom pretty much took care of everything. Highly recommended and worth the money we paid.
